In certain fleck colours (Anthracite, Cedar, Granite, Pearl & Steel) you can customise up to 2m wide (it is up to 1.5m wide in the rest) and any length up to 7m, these mats can fit into any space

Mats with Borders or without

- Without Rubber Borders: The professional choice for mat well / recess fitting. We recommend ordering slightly oversized for these installations to allow for on-site trimming for a snug, seamless finish.

How to order Custom Sizes
- Select ‘Custom Size’ from the Size dropdown menu.
- Choose your Colour, Backing Type (Claw for carpet, Smooth for hard floors), and Border preference.
- Enter your required Width and Length in the boxes that appear.
- The price will automatically be calculated based on your exact dimensions.
There are minimum and maximum custom sizes. Larger sizes cost less/m2 as shown in the Measurement Price Bands displayed.
NB: The custom size you enter is the size the mat will be made to, which includes the borders. Due to natural shrinkage in the manufacturing process, there may be a +/- 3% size variation on made-to-measure mats made with borders. Mats made without borders are cut to your exact size requirement.
NB: This is a Custom-Made Mat. Custom-sized items are made to your specific measurements. Please ensure accurate measurements. Returns for custom items are limited to manufacturing defects or errors on our part. Returns for correctly supplied mats are considered at our discretion and will incur a customisation fee. Ordering to fit in a Mat Well / Recess
Choose ‘No Rubber Border’. Ensure you measure accurately. You may wish to add a little to each dimension to allow you to trim to size on-site to ensure a snug fit. This is simple to do with a sharp utility knife and steel rule. The total mat depth is approx 11.5mm and is recommended for use in mat wells with a depth of between 9mm and 11.5mm.
Delivery timescale
Due to the custom nature of these mats, a lead time of approx. 2 to 3 weeks is required for production and delivery. The mats are currently being made in our EU factory, and you will receive notifications from our courier DHL when your mat is on its way to you. I ordered a custom heavy duty mat from Trusted Mats to go in the companion way of my boat – nothing is worse than a wet, muddy floor in a small boat.
I made a paper template to fit round the complicated floor shape & then cut through the rubber backing with a Stanley knife. Tricky, but very pleased with the result & the mat certainly adds a touch comfort to the cabin & keeps the damp & dirt at bay.
Ordering was easy. Delivery was as confirmed and I was kept updated on the progress of my order. The goods were shipped by DHL on a tracked service.

It was not clear from the site that the delivery was from the EU, and would take as long as it did. The cost without the rubber surround is higher than with it! The mat has lost bits of pile already as it appears that the edging has simply been cut off and not welded or sealed. Altogether, very poor value and a disappointment.

Delivery Time: Our standard delivery time on this custom made product is 2 weeks, and we delivered in 17 days, including Christmas and Boxing Day. We understand the inconvenience and will clearly indicate on our website that this product is shipped from the EU.
Price without Rubber Surround: Mats without borders require wider fabric and result in more material waste, hence the slightly higher cost. This is not necessarily known by our customers, so I hope this helps explain the reasoning.
Mat Edging and Quality: The fabric is heat bonded to the rubber backing. The bits at the very edges that are not in contact with the backing may come away after the cut, but this does not indicate further fraying. We assure you that the mat is of high quality.

Looking to replace a coir doormat, I emailed Trusted Mats at 7.00 one evening for advice. Thirty minutes later I had a detailed reply from Mark OโSullivan. That kind of commitment to customer service is sadly not that common and impressed me enough to follow his recommendation.
One of the qualities that particularly attracted me was that it could be cleaned in a washing machine – unlike the coir.
Fortunately, the mat itself has been a great success. It arrived earlier than predicted and cut exactly to size. It has also resolved the problem we had with the previous coir matting.
The only comment I would make is that the specific material and colour of the new mat does slightly show damp foot marks. But that also confirms that itโs doing its job of drying shoes and protecting our carpets!
