Boat and marine mats provide safety and comfort on board in what can be a hazardous environment. Mats need to be weatherproof and able to cope with high volumes of water, whilst remaining effective at providing critical traction underfoot. 

Boat Deck Mats for Traction

Our anti-slip roll mats can be used on deck to ensure sound traction underfoot. Most rolls are supplied in 10 metre length full rolls or cut by the linear metre. Mats can be further cut to fit the exact size and area required. 

Using roll mats is generally safer than placing lots of individual mats around the deck, because it eliminates the trip hazard that would otherwise exist when walking on and off separate mats.

Our Vynagip Anti-Slip Roll Mats are a particularly popular Boat & Marine mat, due to the deep surface tread which gives excellent traction. The flow-through design allows large volumes of water to flow away from the surface of the mat and drains away from beneath the mat, so that it doesn’t pool underneath.

The mats can withstand very harsh weather and still remain effective at giving a good non slip surface. 

Mats for the Galley, Scullery and Mess

These boat mats have excellent traction and are resistant to grease and oils commonly found in kitchen environments. They have excellent drainage and, with large holes, allow food and debris to fall through the mat away from the standing surface to give a safe walking and standing floor..

Barefoot Area Boat Mats

For areas around the boat where people move around barefooted and require a safe anti-slip surface, we have rolls or mats which give good traction, comfort and have anti-microbial properties. The traction needs to be enough to give sure footedness aboard the boat, but also not so aggressive to be painful to the delicate skin of the feet. The mats which are anti-microbial treated are especially useful for hygiene by helping to control the growth of bacteria, mould and fungi.

Logo Mats for Boats

Logo mats can help provide a welcome aboard, by having any logo or message on the mat. Placed at the entrance or in communal areas, they can also function to give a safe non slip surface on deck.
