The velour face provides good absorption for drying footwear and removing dirt, while the vinyl backing and borders keep the mat stable and hard-wearing underfoot.

Are Velour Vinyl Mats Safe for LVT, Amtico, Karndean & Other Vinyl Flooring
Rubber and latex-backed mats can be a poor match for luxury vinyl tile (LVT) and other vinyl floor coverings and manufacturers warn against using them in their guidelines due to the risk of leaving discoloured patches that are difficult or impossible to remove. This is a particular risk with LVT, Amtico and Karndean floors.
Velour Vinyl mats feature a vinyl backing, so avoid the permanent chemical yellowing or “rubber burn” associated with traditional rubber and latex mats, making these mats a safe choice for use directly on LVT, Amtico, Karndean and other vinyl floor coverings, without the discolouration risk that comes with rubber-backed alternatives.
Because individual floor finishes vary, as with any mat, we advise lifting it weekly during your normal cleaning routine to allow the underlying floor to breathe and prevent surface plasticiser migration.

Customisation options for Velour Vinyl Mats
Velour Vinyl Mats are available in custom lengths, cut to size by the cm. They come edged on all 4 sides, making them ideal for any space where you need a mat that fits the length perfectly.
- To order custom lengths (not currently available in dark brown), enter the number of linear centimetres you require into the “Enter Measurement Here” box that appears
- Example: for a 7m length of the 90cm width roll, choose “Custom Length: 90cm x Linear Centimetre” and enter Quantity 700 into the measurement box
- Minimum order length is 60cm — longer lengths cost less per m², as shown in the Measurement Price Bands displayed
Please note: custom-sized items are made to your specific measurements, so please ensure accurate measurements. As standard with textile-faced floor coverings, custom lengths are subject to a standard manufacturing tolerance of +/- 3%. Returns for custom items are limited to manufacturing defects or errors on our part; returns for correctly supplied mats are considered at our discretion and will incur a customisation fee, with the buyer responsible for return shipping costs.
