Our chair mats can be made to measure in custom sizes to fit your space perfectly. Coupled with a choice of 8 colour shades, these mats look great and will fit anywhere.
Protects Your Floors
Shades Eco Chair Mats will help protect both hard floors and carpets from the damaging effects of chair wheels or legs. No more wear and rips in your carpets or scratches and indentations on your hard floors.
Dimensionally Stable Rubber Backing
The extra thick, dimensionally stable, SuperStyrene rubber backing will not split or crack and resists rucking beneath the wheels or legs of a chair. A choice of smooth backing and claw backing will help keep the mat in place on hard floors or carpets. For medium to deep pile carpets (9mm+), we recommend combining the chair mat with our Teebaud Premium Mat Underlay product, which is very effective at preventing any mat movement or rucking when the chair is moved. You should still select the claw backing, so the mat grips the underlay.
Eco-Friendly Chair Mat
The face of the mat is made from recycled PET plastic bottles, is incredibly stain resistant and easy to clean without the need for chemicals. The mats can also be laundered in a washing machine, although larger mats may only fit in a commercial washing machine.
With or Without Border
Choose to have your eco chair mats with or without rubber border. You may prefer to have without border for aesthetic reasons. The fibres are bonded to the rubber backing to prevent shedding.
Standard or Custom Sizes
To order custom sizes, choose ‘Custom Size’ in the Size dropdown box, choose all your other options (Colour, Backing & Border) and boxes will appear beneath the price to enter the measurements you require. The price will automatically calculate.
There are minimum and maximum custom sizes. Larger sizes cost less/m2 as shown in the Measurement Price Bands displayed.

Purchased a shades eco chair mat to put my computer table and chair on. I am very pleased with the quality of the mat. It was not cheap but looks very sturdy and hardwearing. The Mat has rubber gripping on the bottom to stop it moving position which is beneficial.
The only thing that could have been better was the timescale. It took about 3 weeks to arrive but they are made to order and i ordered it at the end of November which is the busiest time of the year for most online retailers and that would have increased the lead time. Very pleased with the purchase.
