Our Ultra Thick Polycarbonate Chair Mat is the market’s most durable, heavy-duty plastic chair mat. Made of extra thick pure Polycarbonate, it is incredibly durable and rigid, making it ideal for high-volume usage and for heavy and tall users.

The Polycarbonate material is the same used in the manufacture of bullet-proof glass. It will not crack or split and remains totally flat through use. It will provide a smooth gliding surface for chairs on both hard and carpeted floors and will not ident or cup underneath heavy weights or castor wheels. Unlike PVC mats, there is no odour and the mat arrives flat packed and will lie completely flat throughout usage.

Tested up to 225kg (35 stone), the mat can also be used as a general-purpose heavy-duty floor protection mat, for use beneath furniture or heavy appliances for example.

Measure:

• Total floor space
• Workstation width
• Size of chair base
• ‘Roll area’ – how far you’ll move on your chair
• Carpet depth including underlay

How to measure your carpet and underlay depth:

1. Straighten a paperclip as shown below.
2. Insert the paperclip through the carpet and underlay until it touches the subfloor.
3. Measure the depth from the point where the paperclip touches the subfloor to the top of the carpet pile.
4. Choose a chair mat designed for carpets with a depth equal to or greater than your measurement.
