Heavy duty commercial mats are designed to cope with heavy foot fall entrances, such as in schools or retail for example. The high twist PET / microfibre face will resist crushing over time and helps scape and filter dirt to the base of the mat, reducing the chance of it being tracked further into the building.
Available in standard and made to measure sizes up to 1.5m by any length, in three attractive colours. For maximum effectiveness in entrance areas, we recommend you buy the largest mat suitable for your area. The more steps on the mat, the more chance it has of stopping dirt and water.

Absorb Heavy Duty Microfibre Mats feature SuperStyrene rubber backing that will not ripple, split, crack or curl even in high footfall areas. There is a choice of backing types to keep the mat in place on hard floors or on carpets.
Choose with or without rubber border. You may prefer to have without border for aesthetic reasons or if you are fitting the mat into a well or recess. Mat well backing uses a thicker 2.5mm dimensionally stable rubber backing.
Ordering to fit in a Mat Well / Recess
Choose ‘Mat Well’ backing and choose ‘No Rubber Border’. Ensure you measure accurately. You may wish to add a little to each dimension, to allow you to trim to size on-site to ensure a snug fit. This is simple to do with a sharp utility knife and steel rule. With the thicker mat well backing the total mat depth is 14.2mm and is suitable for use in mat wells of depth 11-14mm.
