Important Usage Notice:
Designed for use with office chairs and standard seating. Do not place stationary desk legs or secondary heavy furniture (such as bookcases or filing cabinets) on the mat alongside your chair. Shared weight distribution creates uneven pressure points across the material, which can cause premature cracking and void the warranty.

How to Choose the Right Chair Mat:
Measure:
- Total floor space
- Workstation width
- Size of chair base
- ‘Roll area’ – how far you’ll move on your chair
- Carpet depth, including underlay
How to measure your carpet and underlay depth:
- Straighten a paperclip as shown below.
- Insert the paperclip through the carpet and underlay until it touches the subfloor.
- Measure the depth from the point where the paperclip touches the subfloor to the top of the carpet pile.
- Choose a chair mat option suitable for your total measured depth (e.g., select “Up to 9mm” if your total depth is 9mm or less).

Bought a chair mat from Trusted Mats to protect a new carpet. Works very well and if a little pricy at £77 is well worth the difference. In particular it came rolled up under tension and really did spring out flat immediately on removing the tension, as opposed to other possibilities which seem to be the devil’s own job to unroll and get flat. Very good service as well from a newish and I think small company. Highly recommended.

Service was good and quick. Product was of high quality and reasonably priced for the quality. Above all it was send under tension so that it really did go flat when said tension was removed. Good mat but with slight problem.
The mat ordered was a “Chair Mat Polycarbonate with Lip”. It was delivered promptly and is of very good quality, enabling my desk chair to move around easily on its casters. I can see it will last a long time. However, I do have a bit of an issue with it (hence 4 stars and not 5). It doesn’t stay in place (at least not on my carpet). After a few hours it has moved out of position sufficiently for me to need to lift the chair off it and reposition the mat. The dimples on the underside, which I assume are there to hold the mat in place, don’t seem sufficient to do the job.
