SentryRib Pro Entrance Roll Matting

SentryRib Pro Entrance Roll Matting: Excellent Dirt Removal for High-Traffic Entrances

SentryRib Pro Entrance Roll Matting is a made-to-measure, dual-ribbed entrance mat that removes dirt and moisture at the door, for busy commercial entrances and homes alike. Its raised ribs scrape debris from footwear and wheels, while recessed channels trap and hold water and grit below the surface. Made from 100% polypropylene pile with a non-slip latex gel backing, it’s cut to your width from 1m or 2m deep rolls, in seven colours. The result is cleaner, drier floors inside and a safer, more presentable entrance.

At 10mm deep, it fits into a mat well or can be loose laid as a regular entrance mat, where the latex gel backing helps minimise movement and stops moisture seeping through to the floor beneath. The channels hold dirt in the lower level, so it can be vacuumed or brushed out, and the polypropylene pile is UV stable, so colours stay true even in sunlight. You can trim it to fit any doorway or join extra rolls together for a deeper mat. It suits shop entrances, offices and hallways at home.

Key Features & Benefits of SentryRib Pro Entrance Roll Matting

• Bi-level ribbed design — raised ribs scrape footwear while wide channels trap dirt and moisture below the surface, so less is tracked into your building
• 100% polypropylene pile — a dense 10mm, 2100 g/m² construction that resists wear in heavy foot and wheeled traffic, with UV stability that keeps colours true
• Non-slip latex gel backing — helps minimise movement once laid and provides a rigid backing for when fitting in mat wells or wall to wall
• 10mm depth — suits mat wells, or lay it loose as a regular entrance barrier mat
• Custom widths — cut to your width from a 1m or 2m deep roll, so it fits your doorway exactly
• Seven colours — a practical palette that complements your interior and conceals trapped dirt
• Simple to clean — the wide channels hold dirt in the lower level, from where it’s easily vacuumed or brushed out

Why SentryRib Pro Is Ideal for Mat Wells and Odd-Sized Doorways

Entrances come in all shapes, and many have a recess to fill. SentryRib Pro is cut to your longest width measurement rather than made in fixed sizes.

• Fits your recess — the 10mm depth suits mat wells, and the width is cut exactly to your measurement
• Trims to fit — cut it down further for a snug fit around the edges of the well or around odd-shaped entrance areas
• Hidden joins — for a bigger mat, add extra pieces and the ribbed design hides the join
• Stays put when loose laid — if there’s no well, the non-slip latex gel backing helps hold it in position

If you’re fitting into a recess, consider ordering a little wider (around 1cm) than your measurement, so you can trim it for a precise fit.

Available Sizes

“Deep” is the front-to-back measurement, which is the direction you walk over the mat. You choose the width (left to right), and either size can be cut down further or joined to others.

How to Order Custom Widths

1. Choose your colour.
2. Choose your roll depth (front to back) size, 100cm or 200cm.
3. Enter your required width (left to right) in centimetres in the Enter Measurement Here box that appears. The price calculates automatically.

For example, for a 120cm width of the 100cm roll, choose “100cm x Custom Width” and enter 120 in the measurement box.

The minimum order width is 40cm. Longer widths cost less per m², as shown in the Measurement Price Bands.

Please note: this is a custom-made mat, so please ensure accurate measurements. Returns for custom items are limited to manufacturing defects or errors on our part. Returns for correctly supplied mats are considered at our discretion and will incur a customisation fee. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. See our Refund and Returns Policy for more detailed information.

Get Maximum Scraping: Which Way Should the Ribs Run?

For the best scraping performance, the ridges should run perpendicular to the direction of traffic, left to right as shown above. The ridges run parallel to the custom width you enter, so enter your left-to-right measurement in the Custom Width box. For the direction you walk over the mat (front to back), choose a 100cm or 200cm roll, and cut it down if needed. If you need a longer front-to-back measurement than 200cm, add extra pieces and, thanks to the ribbed design, the join will be hidden.

What Customers Say

Real feedback from our product reviews, from customers using SentryRib Pro in hallways, doorways and mat wells:

FAQs

Q: Will the Sentry Rib mat stay in place?
The non-slip latex gel backing helps minimise movement once the mat is laid. For the most secure fit, place it in a mat well, or you can use double-sided carpet tape beneath.

Q: Is it suitable for wheeled traffic?
Yes. It’s designed for scraping footwear and wheeled traffic at the point of entry and built to withstand heavy foot or wheeled traffic.

Q: Will the Sentry Rib last in a busy entrance?
Yes. The 100% polypropylene pile resists wear and tear in high-traffic areas, and the UV-stable fibres keep their colour in sunlight. The latex backing also helps stop moisture reaching your floor.

Q: How do I clean and look after it?
Vacuum or brush out the dirt that collects in the wide channels in the lower level of the mat.

Q: How do I cover a larger area, or see a colour first?
For a deeper mat, pieces can be joined. The ribbed design hides the join to create a seamless appearance. You can also request a colour sample before you order.
