Ourย Interlock Solid Tilesย are made fromย 100% Nitrile Rubber, offering exceptional resistance to grease, oil, and chemicalsโmaking them ideal for demanding environments like commercial kitchens, food processing areas, and manufacturing floors where oil and grease will otherwise harm standard rubber mats..
Theย solid surface designย (no drainage holes) is perfect for dry or damp areas where spills and debris need to stay on the surface for easy cleaning. These tiles also provide excellent anti-fatigue and anti-slip benefits, along with floor protection and sound dampening.
Each tile measuresย 92 x 92cmย and can be easily cut to fit around fixtures, furniture, or flush against walls for a custom fit.
Optional Edges for Safety & Accessibility
Bevelledย Nitrile Rubber edgesย are available to reduce trip hazards and allow smooth transitions for wheeled traffic. Chooseย yellow edgesย for enhanced visibility and added safety.
Edges measureย 5.5 x 92cmย and can be used for straight edges or corners. Female edges fit male tile connectors and vice versa. Corner sections can be trimmed as needed.

Installation Instructions
Tools Required:
- Non-marking rubber mallet or standard hammer
- Sharp utility knife (e.g. Stanley knife) for trimming tiles or edges
Preparation
Before installation, ensure the matwell or floor area is thoroughly cleaned and free from dust, dirt, and debris. A clean surface helps the tiles interlock properly and sit flat.
Installation Steps
- Start in a Corner
Begin in one corner of the matwell or designated area.
Connect the first tiles together, then continue building outwards to create the required size and layout.
Tap tiles gently into place using a mallet or by hand to ensure a secure connection.
- Adding Bevelled Edges (If Required)
Interlock Flow uses two types of bevel edges: female and male. Female bevels connect to the visible interlocking side of a tile. Male bevels connect to the straight (nonโinterlocking) tile edge.
Both bevel types simply click into place to create a neat, safe ramped perimeter.
- Cutting Tiles or Bevels
Tiles and bevel edges can be easily trimmed using a sharp utility knife.
Cutting Tiles:
Use the moulded guide lines on the underside of the tile to achieve clean, accurate cuts.
Following these lines ensures the cut tile will still interlock correctly and accept bevel edges where needed.
Cutting Bevel Edges:
Attach the bevel to the tile first, then trim the bevel to create:
A straight outer edge, or
A neat mitre in corners (as typically shown in installation diagrams).
- Optional Adhesive
Superglue or similar adhesive may be used to bond tiles or bevels together, but it is not required.
The interlocking system is designed to hold securely without glue in most installations.
